EAST & WEST

Dear friends!
The world is becoming smaller. The opportunity to communicate across national and cultural borders grows every year. To harness the full social and economic potential of an increasingly globalized economy, Altimo is introducing the Altimo Foundation in order to make social investments in projects that will promote cultural and scientific partnerships between the East and the West. Altimo is committed to supporting social cohesion and business expertise in emerging markets where Altimo operates.
The Altimo Foundation will fund projects in the fields of culture, education, social sciences, health and sports. It will act independently, headed by a team of Trustees and work in partnership with local communities and government organisations.
We are delighted that Mike Moore has agreed to Chair the Foundation. He is a leader in the fields of social investment and international development and will prove invaluable to the workings of the Foundation.
