Two MBA scholarships at the top business school INSEAD in France and ten scholarships to study telecommunications at one of Moscow’s leading technical universities are waiting for Vietnamese people who have good essays, express new thought.
On 12 March, in Ho Chi Minh City, Altimo Foundation, a global non-profit entity, founded by Altimo, the leading $30 billion international telecoms investment group in 2007 organized a press briefing to announce looking for candidates for Altimo Vietnam Scholarship Project.
There are twelve scholarships for this time including two for MBA study at the top business school INSEAD in France worth EUR50, 000 each and ten for study telecommunications in five years in one of Moscow’s leading technical universities (MTUCI) value at USD10, 000 per year each. To achieve scholarships, candidates have to graduate from high school or university with high grade and must write an essay in Vietnamese for university scholarship and an essay in English for MBA scholarship. - Reporter introduces essay format.
About essay contest Dr. Nguyen Hong Vu said "All schools in the world require people who look for scholarship must write essay. Though this essay, jury can evaluate 8 candidates’ thought, ability, developing potential to choose right people for scholarship.
This way may be new in Vietnam.
