On February 27, the Altimo Foundation sponsored the Royal Palace Sprint in Stockholm.

The Royal Palace Sprint is a cross-country skiing competition, part of the FIS World Cup. It was organized for the fifth time. Despite the gloomy winter weather, the beautiful surroundings of the city centre and the thrilling sprint races made it a memorable day for both the brave participants and the audience.

In connection to the Royal Palace Sprint, the Altimo Foundation hosted a reception at Cafe Opera and invited a number of prominent guests to attend a Winter Sports Forum with Swedish sports legends. Honoured guests together with Altimo representatives were also invited to a small dinner reception hosted by H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Royal Castle.

Among Altimo's guests were senior officials from the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives from the diplomatic corps as well as a board member of TeliaSonera, which partners Altimo in a number of emerging markets.
